Meet the Staff
Pastor Randy Whitehead
Randy grew up in Western North Dakota. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corp. It was during his service to our nation that he received his call to become a pastor.
Once he had completed his service, he attended Concordia College in Moorhead to complete his bachelors. He then went to Luther Seminary in the Twin Cities.
His first call was in Western North Dakota. Since then, he ministered in Hawley and in Lake Park. He was called to New Life and Little Bethany Lutheran Churches in May of 2016.

Patrice Ziegler
Patrice moved to the community in 2008 with her husband. Since living here they have welcomed 3 children into their family and her primary job was staying home to raise her family.
During her time at home with her children she completed her Associates degree in Photography. Once she completed school, she began taking confirmation pictures at New Life. After getting to know the community, their family decided to make the church their new place to worship.
In 2018 she began teaching PreK-Kindergarten Sunday School at New Life. She began working as the office manager in January of 2020.

Jessica Nelson
Jessica began working as the Youth Director at New Life Lutheran Church in August of 2012.
Before coming to New Life, she lived and worked in Atlanta, Georgia with a program called Mission Year. Mission Year is a year long program where Christian young people live in an urban neighborhood volunteering, worshiping, and loving their neighbors.
In 2016, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Elememtary Education.
